In fact, soy can have a protective effect. Soy is an estrogen of plant origin. We don’t really know the benefits and harms in terms of cancer risk. She points out that women who have a diet high in soy, as in Eastern cultures, do not have an increased risk of breast cancer.
BisphenolA, or BPA, is a common chemical used in many plastic products and some aluminum cans that mimics estrogen. It is on a list of chemicals known as endocrine disruptors due to its effects on hormones. However, more research is needed to determine the risks.

Chronic inflammation and obesity
