Solutions for snoring (part 1)

Snoring is often used as a source of humor in various movies.  However, snoring can lead to poor sleep in these people.  As you know, snoring not only annoys themselves but also the people who live next to them.

Snoring is caused by muscle relaxation in the soft palate (roof of the mouth) of the tongue and throat.  The tissue in your throat can relax, blocking the airway and causing it to vibrate.

The narrower the airway, the more intense the vibration and the louder the snoring sound.  There are several factors involved.  You can use the home remedies that we describe in this article to treat snoring.

Avoid alcohol and sedatives:

Avoid alcoholic beverages or sedatives.  Alcohol and sedatives can soothe your tissues in the throat, blocking the airway and causing snoring.  Do not take sedatives for at least two hours before bedtime.

Snoring is a difficult and uncomfortable condition because there is no real cure for it.  In order to be able to stop snoring naturally, it is better to change your lifestyle. Do exercise;  Lose weight;  Manage allergens and change your sleeping position.  You need to know exactly what causes you to snore.  In this case, you will be able to choose a better and more productive treatment.

Keep your room humid:

If you sleep in a room that is very dry, you may snore.  As you know, dry air dries your throat and causes snoring.  If the reason for your snoring is due to the dryness of the room where you sleep, you can use a humidifier.  Put this device in a convenient position and enjoy your sleep.

If you are overweight, try to lose weight:

If you are one of those people who are overweight, you will probably snore in your sleep.  If you have an overgrowth, you may have more extra tissue in your throat that causes noise.  The more the airway is blocked, the more vibration there is, which makes the snoring sound louder and louder.  So lose weight for the sake of those around you.

Raise your head while sleeping:

You can place your head about 4 inches higher.  This will help keep your tongue out of the airway.  If the airway is open, there will be no vibration.
